Itinerary:

Day 1: Etosha National Park
We travel north to Namibia’s prime wildlife sanctuary, the Etosha National Park. Upon arrival we check in, after which we spend the day at leisure. Take in the savannah environment, relax on the private veranda of your chalet or cool off in the sparkling pool.

Day 2 & 3: Etosha National Park
The following 2 days are devoted purely to open vehicle game drives in search of the abundant wildlife found in the Etosha National Park, which surrounds a parched salt desert known as the Etosha Pan. The park is home to 4 of the Big 5 – elephant, lion, leopard and rhino. The Park was proclaimed as Namibia’s first conservation area in 1907 by the then Governor, von Lindequist. Game viewing in the park is largely focused around the waterholes, some of which are spring fed and some pumped from a borehole water holes are ideal places to sit and watch over 114 different game species, or for the avid birder, in excess of 340 bird species. Popular game species such as giraffe, blue wildebeest, plains and mountain zebra, hyena, lion, leopard, antelopes such as kudu, oryx, eland Etosha is known for some of the endangered species such as Black rhino, cheetah and the black-faced impala are all found here.

Day 4: Windhoek – Cape Town
After breakfast we have some time at leisure. In the early afternoon we travel back to Windhoek. Upon our arrival we are dropped off at our respective accommodation, where the tour ends.

Day 5: Scheduled – Peninsula Tour – Full Day
Departs at 07:45 and 08:45. Returns at approximately 18:00. Cruise along Millionaire’s Paradise from Clifton to Camps Bay and on to Llandudno before an up-close-and-personal Seal Island cruise. Wind along Chapman’s Peak Drive with lunch (own account) at Cape of Good Hope Section of the Table Mountain National Park before meandering back along the coast, visiting Simon’s Town and the penguin colony at Boulder’s Beach. End at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens in Summer or in Winter, Groot Constantia for a wine tasting and cellar tour.

Day 6: Cape Town
Day at leisure. Enjoy some optional activities.
